He began his work as a director with the short film “Jesús TV” (2009), winner of the 1st Prize at the Cusco Short Film Festival. “Bangladesh” (2010), his second short film, won the “Audience Award” as Best Short Film at the Chicago Latino Film Festival among 45 pieces from all over Latin America. In 2013 he premiered “Extra Hours” with Juan Pablo Raba, a Colombian actor (“The 33”, “Narcos”, “Peppermint”) with whom he represented Venezuela at the 16th Rencontres du Cinéma Sud- Américain in Marseille, France. In 2014, the National Autonomous Center of Cinematography selected the treatment of his debut film for the “Script Development” category, thus beginning the process of making his first feature film. Since 2016, he has resided in Mexico City where he continues his career as a director and screenwriter. Since his arrival in this country, he has directed and written the first chapters of the documentary series “Al Natural: Tribute to the Producer”, hosted by the renowned Chef Oropeza and has directed advertising campaigns for brands such as BBVA, La Costeña, Fedex among others. At the same time, he is a screenwriter for “Punta Fina Contents”, an international company with whom he has written various feature films and series for TV. He is currently preparing to direct “Ballet Parking,” his first film.
